Mahindra has announced that its latest electric car will be called the e2o Plus. While Mahindra Electric calls this an all-new vehicle, our spy shots lead us to believe that it will be a four-door version of the current e2o.

The company is tight-lipped about the details of the e2o Plus, but has told us that the ‘Plus’ in the name stands for additional pros the car will offer its customers, such as more space, fast charging and extra range.

Our spy shots also reveal that the car is longer than the current e2o, and while they broadly share the same design language, it gets a redesigned grille that is more in line with other Mahindra cars. Teaser shots revealed by Mahindra also indicate a new vertical tail-light design.

The e2o Plus is expected to be launched very soon, probably in this month itself. While we have no confirmation about the price of the car, we expect it to be costlier than the already-expensive e2o.
