The Buddh International Circuit (BIC) open track day is back. The BIC Time Trial, as it is known, will take place on February 22. It is during this open track day every year, that BIC throws its doors open to the general public. Enthusiasts will be able to take their own cars or bikes to the track to test their skills. The only requirement for participants would be to have a valid driving license and of course the right kind of protective gear, if applicable.

While each hour-long session will cost Rs 4,000 for cars, bike enthusiasts will be able to enjoy each session for Rs 3,000. Three sessions for the car cost Rs 12,000 and Rs 9,000 for bikes, but you will get one session free along with the three.

Each car or motorbike will be first assessed by track officials before being taken out on to the track. There will be a safety briefing facilitated by professional driving instructors to discuss the rules, safety, driving techniques, circuit information and handling emergency situations while out on the tarmac.

Interested persons can also take a taxi ride in the Mercedes SLS, E-class, C-class or the ML-class with certified circuit drivers. This will attract extra cost.

All further information is available on the official website of the Buddh International Circuit.
