Based on the Punto hatchback, the Fiat Avventura is a proper crossover. What sets the Avventura apart is that it actually boasts of mechanical changes, such as increased ride height and larger 16” rims. The powerplant is the 92bhp 1.3-litre diesel motor found in the Linea and the Punto Evo Sport. ON the inside Fiat has added features such as a tilt meter and a compass which will surely add to the Avventura’s appeal. And, now with the variant details available to us it is now clear what Fiat will offer to Avventura customers.
The Avventura wil be available in the familiar three Fiat trims: Active, Dynamic and Emotion.Right from the entry-level Active trim Fiat is offering the meaty 16-inch alloys, the tailgate-mounted spare wheel with cover and rear fog lamps. ON the inside you’ll find the cool and geeky compass and tilt meter. The Active trim also features the dual-tone dashboard, electric and remote boot release, automatic and central door locking, front power windows, keyless entry tilt-adjustable steering, indicators on wing mirrors and manual AC.
Over and above this, the mid-level Dynamic trim will get front fog lamps, electrically-adjustable body-coloured wing mirrors, height adjust for driver’s seat, rear power windows and ABS with EBD. It also gets an audio system with USB and aux compatibility along with speed-sensing volume control.
