Audi has added the Q3 SUV to the ranks of its models that are assembled locally. The car will be put together through the completely knocked down (CKD) route.
The local assembly of the SUV should enable the carmaker to shorten the waiting period of the car. A lower-specced Q3 sport version of the car with a manual gearbox is also available in our market currently.
The Audi Q3 will be manufactured at the Volkswagen Group's Aurangabad facility which the carmaker shares with Skoda.
There has been no indication from the company as to whether the local assembly will reflect in reduced prices.
