Ford Figo Aspire to come in four variants

Ford's new compact sedan, the Aspire will get three engine options and four variants. Here's an equipment break up.

The Figo Aspire is Ford’s maiden entry into the compact sedan segment. The upcoming sedan gets a number of segment firsts such as a six-speed double clutch automatic gearbox and a 1.5-litre petrol motor. Ford has also equipped the Aspire with dual airbags as standard.

The Figo Aspire will be available in four trims – Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+ - and three engine options – a 1.2 and 1.5-litre petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel motor. The 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel are offered on all trim levels and come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre petrol is mated to a six-speed double clutch automatic gearbox as standard and is only available on the Titanium trim.

Here is a look at the features on each trim:

Figo Aspire Ambiente 

The base trim of the model offers the following features:

·         Rear fog lamps

·         14-inch steel wheels

·         Fabric upholstery

·         Passenger vanity mirror

·         12V power outlet

·         Guide- Me-Home headlamps

·         AC

·         Tilt-adjust steering

·         Front power windows with one-touch up-down driver window

·         Electric boot release

·         Dual airbags

·         Remote locking

·         Engine immobilizer

Figo Aspire Trend 

The Trend gets the following feature in addition to the above list:

·         Front fog lamps

·         Fabric door inserts

·         Black interior appliqué

·         Rear centre armrest

·         Driver vanity mirror

·         Boot lamp

·         Steering-mounted audio and phone controls

·         Electric-adjust wing mirrors with turn indicators

·         Rear power windows

·         MyFord Dock

·         Tachometer

·         AM/FM radio with aux, USB and Bluetooth
