BMW Group has announced plans to launch 23 products during the remainder of 2026. Of these, eight are scheduled to go on sale in the second quarter (April to June), while the remaining launches will take place over the following two quarters. These introductions will be spread across BMW Group brands, namely BMW (luxury cars), BMW Motorrad (motorcycles) and Mini (small cars).

BMW Group has confirmed that these 23 products will include six all-new nameplates for India. Among them are the BMW F 450 GS bike set to launch on April 23, the BMW i5 LWB expected in the current quarter and the BMW iX3 planned for later this year. Other models likely to be part of this rollout include the Mini Aceman EV and a non-JCW version of the Mini Countryman.
Additionally, BMW Group has indicated that four products from its existing portfolio will receive comprehensive updates, one of which is expected to be the iX. A total of 17 products are slated to receive either facelifts or model-year updates as part of the broader launch plan.

BMW has edged past Mercedes-Benz in Q1 car sales
BMW also reported its best-ever first-quarter car sales performance in India, retailing 4,567 units between January and March 2026, marking a 17 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase. This performance has positioned BMW as the bestselling luxury carmaker in India, overtaking Mercedes-Benz.
BMW also claimed the top spot in India’s luxury EV segment with a 70 percent market share in Q1 2026. Its cumulative sales across BMW and Mini models surged 83 percent YoY to 1,185 units. The BMW iX1 LWB was the bestselling luxury EV in India during this quarter.
There was strong demand for its long-wheelbase models, with 2,256 units sold (up 23 percent YoY), while SUV sales reached 2,996 units (up 38 percent YoY). Meanwhile, Mini’s sales soared 42 percent to 213 units, and BMW Motorrad delivered 1,216 motorcycles in India during Q1 2026.
