Keeway V302C

The Keeway V302C is an eye-catching bobber with a low stance, attractive paint finish and a distinctive V-Twin character. The all-LED headlamp offers good high-beam performance, while the 15-litre fuel tank provides a practical riding range. However, exposed wiring, visible Benda branding, inconsistent fit and finish, and issues like an upside-down badge reduce the premium feel.

The low 690mm seat height makes the V302C accessible for riders of different heights, and the rider’s seat is well-cushioned. However, the riding position feels awkward due to the combination of a flat handlebar and forward-set footpegs. The thin pillion seat offers very little comfort, while the limited suspension travel results in a harsh ride over bad roads.

The 298cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine produces 29.5hp and 26.5Nm. It stands out for its smoothness, strong mid-range performance and good refinement, with very little engine heat. The engine is tractable and can comfortably cruise at around 100kph, but the short gearing and increasing vibrations at higher speeds limit highway performance.

Despite its cruiser styling, the V302C handles corners surprisingly well. Its 167kg kerb weight makes it easy to manoeuvre, and the tyres provide good grip. However, limited cornering clearance and the firm suspension affect confidence on rough roads. The brakes lack feel, and the ABS intervenes too early during hard braking.

The V302C comes with a simple LCD instrument cluster, LED lighting and a USB charging port. However, the display is difficult to read in bright sunlight, and the overall feature list feels limited for its price. Attention to detail and quality control could also be better.

The Keeway V302C impresses with its attractive styling and refined V-Twin engine, but its harsh ride, poor pillion comfort, inconsistent quality and limited features make it difficult to justify its premium pricing.
