Yamaha launches Fascino scooter

India Yamaha Motor has just announced the launch of its Fascino automatic scooter.

The automatic Fascino is powered by Yamaha's patented Blue Core technology. It is powered by a 113cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder and air-cooled engine and uses a pair of valves per cylinder for intake and exhaust duty. The new scooter makes 7bhp at 7,500rpm and peak torque of 0.8kgm is produced at 5,000rpm. It comes with the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) type gearbox. 
The Fascino gets telescopic suspension upfront and a monoshock will do duty at rear. It gets 10 inch wheels and seat height is at 775mm. 

With a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres, Yamaha's latest offering weighs 103kg. Available in red, white, black and two shades of blue, the fashionably styled Fascino is priced at Rs 52,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
