To expand its reach to potential customers, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd. India has now made the Vespa automatic scooter available online. You can now book any Vespa, currently sold in India, online. Piaggio India has partnered with Snapdeal.com, an internet portal that sells everything from television sets to financial services, to sell their entire range of Vespa premium scooters in India.  The first 100 clients booking their scooters on this site will receive special offers.

Sanjeev Goyle, executive vice president, 2W Business, Piaggio Vehicles (India) said that the automotive category on Snapdeal, has grown at a phenomenal pace in the last 12 months. He also mentioned that their brand store will enable Piaggio to manage their product selection, promotions and launches as per the need and on the basis of analytics shared by Snapdeal too.

The online store currently retails Hero MotoCorp and Mahindra two wheelers also.
