Updated BMW R 1250 GS, R 1250 GS Adventure bookings open

BMW Motorrad India has thrown open bookings for the updated R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure. The motorcycles feature new colours and upgraded equipment.

    Updated BMW R 1250 GS, R 1250 GS Adventure: what’s new?

The BMW R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure get an updated features list. To begin with, there’s  Dynamic Traction Control and an Eco mode as standard. The latter adjusts torque and power delivery in order to maximise fuel economy.

The bikes are also equipped with the BMW Integral ABS Pro system. In essence, it is a type of combi-braking system that engages both the front and rear brakes simultaneously. The system works along with the six-axis IMU to adjust braking performance, based on whether the motorcycle is being ridden on-road or off-road.

Besides these updates, BMW is also introducing new colour options. The standard R 1250 GS gets the Triple Black and Solid White paint schemes. The R 1250 GS Adventure, on the other hand, pairs the Triple Black with a new ice grey colour. The BMW white, red and blue Rallye colours are also available. BMW is also likely to launch the bikes with the 'Edition 40 Years GS' black and yellow paint work. It commemorates 40 years of the iconic BMW GS motorcycles, and takes inspiration from the BMW R 100 GS.
