Offer price extended for another one thousand customers

Ultraviolette had launched the Shockwave at an introductory price of Rs 1.5 lakh for the first one thousand bookings. The brand sold out its first lot of bikes within 24 hours, and hence, it has decided to extend this offer, inviting an additional one thousand bookings. Ultraviolette has stated that post this introductory offer, the Shockwave will cost Rs 1.75 lakh.

The Shockwave was launched alongside the brand’s first-ever scooter, the Tesseract. However, the company has not yet extended the introductory price offer extension on the Tesseract.

The Shockwave weighs in at a rather light 120kg and produces a peak output of 14.7hp and 505Nm at the wheel (this number may seem huge because of the multiplication factor of the gearing). The company claims that it can clock a 0-60kph sprint in 2.9 seconds. Ultraviolette did not reveal the battery capacity but gave us a claimed IDC range of 165km.

The Shockwave is available in two colours: yellow/black and white/red

We recently covered that Ultraviolette plans to expand its product portfolio over a period of 36 months across five platforms: F Series (fast bike), S Series (scooters), L Series (lightweight bikes), X Series and B Series. Currently, the F series has two models – F77 Mach 2 and F77 Super Street. The Shockwave falls under the L-series, whereas the Tesseract falls under the S Series.
