Royal Enfield has planned out its second ride to Tibet, which begins on September 7, 2014. Thirty riders will be taking part in this journey that covers a total of 2,380km in fourteen days, at an average altitude of 4500 metres. This trip will also provide an opportunity for riders to head over to the Everest Base Camp, which is based at an altitude of 5200 meters.

Last year, 17 riders from RE's Tibet ride had managed to conquer the Everest base camp.

Beginning from Kathmandu, the ride will consist of challenging terrain, including numerous hairpin turns and some scope to go off-road on certain stretches.
