Come January 10, 2010 Yamaha has a treat in store for Indian MotoGP aficionados. Ace Italian motorcycle racer and seven time MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi will visit the Japanese manufacturer’s exhibit at the Auto Expo, New Delhi.
Having recently clinched his fourth title with Yamaha, the charismatic Rossi will definitely add much star power to Yamaha’s exhibit.
The manufacturer will have on display their entire Indian line-up that includes the Crux, Alba, G5, Gladiator, Gladiator Type SS/RS, FZ-16, FZ-S, Fazer and YZF-R15 motorcycles. Apart from these bikes, the manufacturer is also expected to showcase a few scooters that could hit Indian roads soon.
Yamaha will also launch the 2010 YZF-R1 superbike at the Auto Expo. Priced at Rs 12,50,000 (ex-showroom, India), the latest YZF-R1 will be sold at 24 Yamaha CBU dealerships in 13 cities across the country. In addition to the YZF-R1, the recently launched VMAX will also be on display.Also to be shown at the Auto Expo will be models from Yamaha’s international range such as the FJ6 motorcycle and T-Max scooter.
If their excellent 2008 Auto Expo exhibit is anything to go by, Yamaha’s 2010 Auto Expo display is a must visit.
