Royal Enfield India has just announced the price for their limited-edition Classic 500 motorcycle called the Despatch. Both variants, the Desert Storm Despatch and the Squadron Blue Despatch, will be available for purchase on Royal Enfield's online store for Rs 2.05 lakh(ex-showroom, Mumbai). The two motorcycles with unique camouflage patterns, will be produced and sold in India, with production being limited to only 200 units. The motorcycles will be available for purchase from 15 July, 2015.

The ‘Despatch’ nomenclature pays tribute to an era when Royal Enfield motorcycles were used to relay important information from the battlefield to the main headquarters. The colour scheme of the limited-run motorcycles is inspired by the kit worn by despatch riders and the terrains they covered.

Both motorcycles will be sold with a genuine leather seat and a leather buckle that supports its airbox. A matte black paint scheme is seen on its engine and muffler unit. The chassis gets the same basic colour as the respective motorcycle.
