Kawasaki along with Bajaj are working to launch the 649cc ER-6f in India. The faired-in street bike is powered by a four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine in parallel twin format. This fuel-injected Ninja will output a max power of 72.1bhp at 8500rpm, with suspension a combination of telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.

The ER-6f will be assembled at Bajaj’s Chakan plant brought into India as a CKD package, and expected to sell for an approximate on-road price of Rs 5.5 lakh when launched later in 2011.
