Mahindra Two-Wheelers have recently let us ride their upcoming scooter the Gusto, which was created by Mahindra Two-Wheelers in their research and development facility in Pune.  Mahindra will launch the Gusto in North and West India on the 29th of September 2014, and launch of the scooter in the rest of India, South Asia, Latin America and Africa will follow within a few months, says Mahindra.

The Gusto is powered by a 109.6cc, four-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is entirely made of aluminium, and is capable of producing 8bhp and 0.8kgm of peak torque.

Expect an upright, comfortable riding posture with friendly city and highway ergonomics. The Gusto feels planted at higher speeds thanks to its telescopic front suspension and larger 12inch wheels and tubeless tyres. A good turn-in radius is cleverly mated to the comparatively longer 1,275mm wheelbase, making u-turns much easier here.

The Mahindra Gusto uses 130mm drum brakes up front and back that stop the scooter with a progressive feel.

The prices, photographs and more details when the Mahindra Gusto launches on the 29th Sept 2014, stay tuned.
