Images of the new motorcycle from Honda spied here in India were published on gaadiwaadi.com recently. From the spied model, we try and decode the motorcycle that seems to be in its production-ready form.

Honda's new and youthful design language is evident in their designs, and like the Honda CB Unicorn 160, this new motorcycle too gets a refreshed look. Upfront, a single headlight unit sits wide across its cowl, with clear lens indicators set side-by-side. Expect handle-mounted mirrors on the blacked out-handlebars. Honda motorcycles strive to achieve a balance between sporty design and practical every day use, without attracting too much attention. The riding position here seems comfortable — upright with arms extending forward and legs straight downward.

The sleek-looking tank shrouds provided here seem to offer good thigh support too. From the silhouette, a Honda wing emblem is visible on the tank shrouds too. Suspension duty is carried out by telescopic forks up front and a set of dual shock absorbers make way at the rear. This Honda bike gets a longish seat that will make commute easy for the rider and the pillion. A one- piece, minimalist grab handle is seen above a longish mudguard. The rear panel is also well designed, and has an air scoop within it. Honda provides a chain-driven final drive which is entirely encased in a covering. Here, a side-mounted silencer is seen, not entirely but clear enough to say that it is black in colour. A drum brake assembly does duty up front and at rear along with 6-spoke and blackened alloy wheels.

It is still unclear if Honda plans to introduce features such as a disc brake upfront or its CBS braking system, and if Honda’s HET technology will make way here to aid fuel-efficiency. Expect the motorcycle to launch here soon.
