Hero's EV subsidiary, Vida, will be a part of EICMA 2025 that's scheduled to take place tomorrow, November 4. The brand has teased two of its products that will be showcased: the VXZ street naked and the Ubex, that seems to be a supermoto, among other concepts that were teased earlier.

Vida Ubex and VXZ Concept: What to expect
The Vida Ubex could be the manufacturer's first electric motorcycle for our market.
The image shared on social media features only the silhouette of the VXZ with its V-shaped DRL (Daytime-running lamp) on, offering limited information on what to expect. What we can establish though is that the VXZ concept is a street-naked motorcycle and features a USD fork, monoshock, radial disc brake at the front, a disc at the rear, 5-spoke alloy wheels and a tail-section similar to the Xtreme 250R with the number plate and indicators mounted on the tyre-hugger. The image also confirms that the bike will feature a mid-mounted motor with belt-drive and the battery housing where a conventional engine would typically be.

Performance specifications and powertrain details remain unknown at this stage. However, we previously reported that the automaker is working with Zero Motorcycles on a number of products in the 350cc and above equivalent segments that will launch in 2026-27. Whether this concept is one of those motorcycles is yet to be seen.
As for the Ubex, we have very little information about that E-2 wheeler as Vida has only teased its silhouette. By the looks of it, it seems to be a supermoto sort of motorcycle. Upon launch, it could be a unique offering in India (if Hero decides to launch it here) -- with decent suspension travel and a tall-seat -- before other competitors jump in.

At the moment, several manufacturers are working on adding electric motorcycles to their line-up. The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 appears to be in its final stages of development with an early 2026 launch expected, while Ather Energy, in which Hero MotoCorp holds a significant stake, is developing a new platform called Zenith to underpin electric two-wheelers targeting the 125-300cc segments. earlier this year, Ultraviolette also showcased the Shockwave dirt-bike and Tesseract scooter that are slated to go into production next year.
It's quite possible that the Vida VXZ and Ubex will offer specifications and performance that place it in a similar category. We'll have more details when the concept is unveiled at EICMA next week.
