Harley Davidson X440 T: What’s new?
The X440 T is available in 4 colours
The X440 T brings ride-by-wire capability to the platform for the first time and introduces two riding modes – Road and Rain. It also gets switchable traction control and switchable rear ABS. Another notable addition is a Panic Braking Alert system
Harley-Davidson has re-engineered the rear subframe for the X440 T, introducing an all-new tail section and redesigned grab handles to improve pillion comfort. These changes help the T visually stand apart from the standard X440 Vivid and S variants. More importantly, the updated rear three-quarter design addresses one of the key criticisms of the X440. The new setup looks better proportioned, reducing the visual gap between the rear wheel and the fender and giving the motorcycle a more cohesive, angular stance. With a kerb weight of 192kg, it weighs 1.5kg more than the X440.

The X440 T is powered by the same 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil cooled engine as the X440, producing 27hp and 38Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
With the launch of this new top variant, Hero and Harley have discontinued the earlier Denim variant, which was the only X440 model equipped with spoke wheels. With the Denim now phased out, the entire H-D X440 family moves to alloy wheels as standard across all trims.
The updated pricing starts at Rs 2.34 lakh for the X440 Vivid, Rs 2.55 lakh for the X440 S and tops out with the X440 T at Rs 2.79 lakh. The X440 T is available in four colours – Black, Red, Blue and White.
Bookings for the X440 T open on December 7 at Harley-Davidson and Hero Premia dealerships, with online reservations available through the X440 website.
