Autocar India reader Vikas Shokeen was in for a surprise while attending a workshop-cum-market research clinic organised in Delhi by international motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson. Invitees submitted their opinions on a large array of cruiser and sports bikes from both Indian and international manufacturers displayed at the venue.

Bikes showcased included  the Royal Enfield Bullet Machismo 500, Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i, Avenger 200 DTS-i, Cagiva Mito SP 525, Ducati 848, MV Agusta Brutale, Yamaha YZF-R1, Suzuki Hayabusa, Suzuki Intruder and Kawasaki Vulcan. These apart from Harley’s own XL 1200 Nightster and V-Rod.[BODYAD]

Feedback was also sought for an XR 1200, Softail Fat Boy, Dyna Street Bob as well as a top secret concept bike that was separately displayed. This interesting new bike looked to be in the early stages of development and was not a working prototype. This could possibly even be an Indian Harley under development for developing markets like ours. Stay tuned.
