Ducati Motor Holding CEO, Gabriele Del Torchio has just passed on the baton to Claudio Domenicali, who was till now general manager and a member of the board of directors at Ducati. Gabriele Del Torchio was the man at the helm when Ducati steered itself clear of difficult economic times, bringing this famous motorcycle maker back on a successful growth path during his six-year tenure.

New man at the wheel, Claudio Domenicali has been with Ducati since 1991, steadily climbing the ladder over the years, today becoming top man at the company. Claudio Domenicali was recently confirmed as a director when Audi took over Ducati in 2012. He has just received a warm welcome to his new office at Ducati’s mother-plant, the Borgo Panigale factory in Italy. The factory workforce positioned Ducati’s latest range of motorcycles, with the Desmosedici GP race bike in front of the rest. All the motorcycle engines were started and revved up, bringing the new CEO to his window in a fitting show of support for their new top boss.
