Red Dot award for Ducati 1199 Panigale

Ducati’s flagship 1199 Panigale superbike has bagged the international Red Dot design award for 2013. This premiere design competition saw 4,662 entries, of which, the 1199 Panigale emerged victorious. The award ceremony was held at the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany on July 1, 2013. The cutting-edge 1199 Panigale will be showcased at the Red Dot museum in Germany for a month and an entire year at its Singapore museum. TheDucati superbike won the Red Dot best-of-the-best award due to its performance and aesthetically maximising components and paraphernalia, a fine balance which is difficult to achieve.

The 1199 Panigale has taken Ducati three years to turn into a reality and its efforts seem to be paying off not only on the track, but even off it.
