Ex-Ducati designer joins Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield has just revealed that ace motorcycle designer - Pierre Terblanche has joined their team. Pierre Terblanche has played an important role in shaping Ducati’s motorcycle design structure up to the year 2007.

Terblanche is known to have designed the Ducati Multistrada 1000S (2006), Ducati Hypermotard (2005), Ducati ST3 (2005), Ducati 999 (2003), Ducati SportClassic series (2005) and the Confederate X132 Hellcat Speedster (2014).

Pierre Terblanche has worked with the design division of many famous brands, such as Volkswagen, Cagiva, Ducati, Bobkat (boat design), Moto Guzzi (Piaggio) and Norton motorcycle.

Royal Enfield has also announced the acquisition of a 50 acre plot in Vallam Vadagal, near Chennai, which is located within 10 kilometers of its Oragadam facility. This will help the company meet the increasing demand for its motorcycles globally.
