The bike on display has top-spec racing components.
CFMoto says the V4 SR-RR combines design with R&D, and expectations are high, with test bench results showing optimised performance, reduced weight and improved aerodynamics – all without compromising aesthetics and functional balance.
The V4 SR-RR has a radical design, with a sharp and sleek front end, and the highlight is the large active aerodynamic wings. The bike on display had top-spec components all around, with parts like a Brembo GP4-RR caliper, semi-active suspension, a steering damper, an Akrapovic twin-barrel exhaust and slick Pirelli tyres.
The motorcycle is said to feature a new-generation 997cc 90-degree V4 engine. The kerb weight is claimed to be below 200kg, while the crankshaft power output exceeds 210hp. CFMoto says the engine delivers a broad, linear and progressive power curve that allows the rider to fully exploit the potential of the V4, and every component has been engineered to ensure immediate throttle response and maximum control both on road and track.
For now, these are all the details available. More specifications of the V4 SR-RR should be available next year. If and when launched, it will go up against the likes of the Ducati Panigale V4, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Yamaha YZF-R1 and Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP.
