Honda will launch the CBR250R across India in April 2011. HMSI has accepted bookings for the CBR250R since January 1, 2011. This becomes the largest capacity production motorcycle from Honda in India and could also be exported from here.

The CBR250R boasts of a 250cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine with fuel injection and a maximum power output of 25bhp. The world’s first 250cc motorcycle to deploy combined, anti-lock brakes, C-ABS, the CBR250R is attractively priced at Rs 1.51 lakh, and Rs 1.77 lakh with C-ABS (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
