BMW F 450 GS Accessories: What’s new?

The left and right engine protectors cost Rs 13,126

While internationally, the F 450 GS was showcased with golden cross-spoke wheels, the Indian model only came with alloy wheels as standard. Raising the question of how much would the cross-spoke wheels cost, if bought as an accessory. Now, this accessory list answers that boiling question. The front and the rear cross-spoke wheel set will cost Rs 99,693 – just a hair under Rs 1 lakh.

There are quite a few interesting accessory price revelations here. For example, the single-piece Rallye seat, with the hallmark BMW tri-colours will set you back by Rs 9,081, whereas the rider’s low-seat retails at Rs 21,195. Another interesting price disparity is with the Rallye Wind Shield. The Clear Rallye Windshield costs just Rs 2,000, also making it the most affordable accessory, whereas the tinted version of the Rallye Windshield costs Rs 14,182. The most expensive accessory on this list is the 40-litre duffle bag set (which can also be used on most other BMW Motorrad products), whereas the second most expensive is the GPS Navigator system that adds a secondary screen to the mix.

Poll of the month

What do you think about E85 fuel’s Rs 82.12/litre price in India?

Good - Rs 20/litre cheaper than E20 is a big advantage
Bad - it should have been priced even lower
Doesn’t matter - there aren’t enough E85-compatible vehicles yet
