Bajaj Auto has confirmed that prices for the Pulsar NS400Z and Dominar 400 will not increase despite the recent GST hike on motorcycles above 350cc. Instead of passing on the additional tax burden to customers, the company has chosen to absorb the cost.

GST 2.0 rates for motorcycles above 350cc rise from 31 percent to 40 percent
This decision extends Bajaj’s approach of selectively absorbing GST increases across its portfolio. While the company has passed on the full GST benefit to customers on motorcycles under 350cc, it has chosen to maintain pricing stability for models above the 350cc threshold.
The move is especially significant for the NS400Z, which remains one of the most value-for-money offerings in its class at Rs 1.92 lakh. Passing on the higher GST rate would have raised its ex-showroom price by roughly Rs 13,000, increasing the already existing gap with sub-350cc rivals like the TVS Apache RTR 310.
The Dominar 400, which received a notable update earlier this year with added electronics, also remains unaffected and continues to be priced at Rs 2.39 lakh.
By keeping prices unchanged, Bajaj is aiming to preserve accessibility in this segment and shield demand from the impact of the GST hike. As with KTM and Triumph bikes, the company hasn’t specified how long these prices will hold, but the move is expected to give sales a boost this festive season.
