In an effort to increase rider safety, Suzuki Motorcycles has started the ‘Joy of Safety’ initiative in India and will use its dealership network to propagate it. Suzuki aims to engage with its customers at a dealer level and intends to help them get a better understanding of their motorcycles, how to ride it safely and how to apply what they do learn, out on the road.

The brand also plans to conduct practical riding sessions to improve basic skills through the programme. Devashish Handa, vice president – sales, marketing and aftersales, Suzuki Motors India, said, “A good-rider is someone who doesn’t just ride fast, or for long distances; but also the one who rides responsibly.”

The ‘Joy of Safety’ initiative will be conducted across 28 cities in India.
