Over the last year, we’ve seen multiple manufacturers make significant changes to their products specifically for the Indian market, following the revised GST structure that brought lower taxes for bikes up to 350cc. After notable changes from Bajaj, KTM and Triumph, the latest brand that could make similar adjustments appears to be Harley-Davidson. Images of what appears to be a production-spec X350 T have surfaced online, suggesting that we could be getting a smaller-capacity version of the X440 T.

Harley-Davidson X350 T: What to expect
The X350 T is not to be confused with the parallel-twin X350 sold in select international markets
The Harley-Davidson X440 T was launched in December 2025, just a couple of months after the revised GST structure came into effect. It brought some notable improvements over the standard X440, including ride-by-wire, which enabled two riding modes – Road and Rain – as well as traction control and switchable rear ABS.
However, its 440cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine attracts 40 percent GST compared to the 18 percent tax on bikes up to 350cc. The bike seen in these images could be Harley-Davidson’s response to this, likely featuring a downsized engine that sits just below that threshold. This would allow the brand to achieve significant cost savings and potentially price it more competitively against rivals from Royal Enfield, Triumph and Honda, all of which have bikes under the 350cc mark.
For reference, when Triumph downsized its 400 platform with its new 349cc engines, some models saw their prices drop by up to Rs 11,000. The X440 T is currently priced from Rs 2.86 lakh, and it remains to be seen how much of a price reduction Harley-Davidson could achieve with the X350 T if it makes it to our market.
From the images, it appears that not much else has changed apart from the new engine, refreshed graphics and orange colourway. The rest of the motorcycle, including the frame and chassis components, appears to have been carried over, as does the circular instrument cluster.
Harley-Davidson has not made any official announcements about the arrival of this motorcycle. However, given that the bike appears to be production-spec, we could hear more about it soon.
