The new Bajaj Pulsar N250 and F250 have received a price hike of Rs 1,117 and Rs 915, respectively, which means the Bajaj Pulsar N250 will set you back by Rs 1,39,117, while the F250 costs Rs 1,40,915. Bajaj launched the Pulsar 250 twins last year as a successor to the ageing Pulsar 220 F.

The new Pulsar 250 twins get a brand new 24.5hp, 21.5Nm, 249.07cc, SOHC, air and oil-cooled engine that’s mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.

The twins also get a new tubular steel frame, wheels that come shod in MRF rubber and are 0.5kg lighter than the NS' at each end.

They also come equipped with a frameless digital instrument cluster with an analog tachometer, which we are quite fond of. We also feel that both motorcycles – particularly the N250 – are rather handsome, however, it is up to you to decide.

The Pulsars compete with the similarly priced Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. The Apache, while matching the twins in all other aspects, is significantly more feature-loaded as it gets a digital instrument cluster and adjustable suspension at both ends.
