The Scrambler 900 Icon is a special edition modern-classic motorcycle from Triumph’s lineup. It pays tribute to the early 20th century scramblers by inheriting their design paired with modern performance. The icon edition gets dressed in a distinctive dual-tone Sapphire Black and Aluminium Silver paint scheme, with hand-painted coach lining on the fuel tank. The main highlight is the presence of the unique Triumph logo on the fuel tank which happens to be the first logo used by the brand in 1907 after the original heraldic badge.
Apart from the aesthetic changes, the Triumph Scrambler 900 is mechanically identical. It is powered by a 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 64.1hp and 80Nm,mated to a five-speed gearbox. It runs on a 19/17-inch (F/R) spoke wheel combination. The suspension setup consists of telescopic fork and twin rear shocks with 120mm travel at both ends. Braking is handled by a disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS. The Triumph Scrambler 900 Icon edition is priced at Rs 11.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) marking a premium of over Rs 30,000 over the standard model’s Kingfisher Blue colour.
