The new Ford Figo Aspire maintains company's corporate identity with the Aston Martin like grille and headlamps.

At the back, the Figo Aspire gets a pair of simple, single piece tail-lamps and black cladding on the bumper. Top-trim models get the addition of a thick band of chrome on the tailgate.

The two-tone dashboard gets many familiar bits from the larger Fiesta and EcoSport.

The front seats offer good levels of lateral, back and thigh support.

The rear bench in the Figo Aspire offers good back support and decent levels of legroom. Overall comfort is near class leading.

The audio system display is the same as on the EcoSport but gets the addition of features like the Ford MyKey system.

The MyFord Dock is cleverly engineered and acts as a sync point, charging station and storage space for your phone, GPS or MP3 device.

The headlamp switchgear on the top trim Aspire model gets chrome detailing.

The instrument cluster in the Figo Aspire are rather simple and dull looking.

The Figo Aspire gets voice activated commands but requires the user to speak in an accent.

The Figo Aspire gets three engine options - a 86.8bhp 1.2-litre petrol, a 110.5bhp 1.5-litre petrol and a 98.6bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine.

The Figo Aspire’s 1.2-litre petrol delivers 18.6kpl while the 1.5-litre petrol motor is good for 17kpl. The 1.5-litre diesel motor does a gnenerous 25.83kpl.

As with the screen, the audio system controls are also similar to the ones on the EcoSport.

The chrome grille will only be offered on the top spec Figo Aspire models.
