Inside, the Tipo is expected to share parts with other Fiat models such as the 500X and 500L.

The Fiat Tipo is expected to replace the Linea sedan internationally when it goes on sale.

At 4.5 metres in length, 1.78 metres in width, and 1.48 metres in height along with a 2.64 metre-long wheelbase, the Tipo has the same dimensions as the Aegea concept.

The Tipo gets a prominent front grille with a chrome lower lip and chrome inserts that merges neatly into the headlamps.

Bold creases are seen along the flanks, on the roof and the bonnet of the Tipo.

The Tipo will be powered by two Fiat MultiJet- II engines and two petrol engines with power output expected to be between 94bhp and 118bhp.

The Fiat Tipo sedan sticks closely to the design of the Aegea concept unveiled at the Istanbul motor show 2015.
