The 2027 KTM Freeride E features a waterproof and dustproof electric motor producing 19.2kW peak power and 37Nm of torque, enabling a claimed top speed of 95kph. Power delivery can be adjusted via three ride modes, and there are also three levels of regenerative braking. The electric powertrain is fed by a 5.5kWh lithium-ion battery that provides 2-3 hours of typical enduro riding time. Charging time is 8 hours with the standard 660W charger, or 1.5 hours with the optional 3.3kW fast charger.
The Freeride E is built around a chrome-molybdenum steel frame with an aluminium and glass-fibre reinforced nylon subframe. The entire package weighs just 112kg. Suspension duties are handled by adjustable WP XACT and XPLOR units at both ends, paired with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear aluminium wheels shod with Michelin Enduro Medium tyres.
