I’m looking to upgrade from my 200cc Apache RTR to a bike with a strong midrange. I’m looking for something above the 400cc range. What are the good options available, considering that I am looking for a naked roadster style bike?
Also, is it advisable to go in for second hand bikes?

Autocar India says: If you are interested in second hand bikes you could look at something like a used Triumph Street Twin or even a used Street Triple. However, with used bikes, you need to be very cautious about the condition of the motorcycle as spare parts of imported bikes can be very expensive.
For new motorcycles, you could consider the Kawasaki Z650 or Z650RS. Both have powerful parallel-twin engines that make over 60hp, and both have superb mid-range performance.
If you’re looking for something more cost effective, your best option would be the upgraded 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. The bike now gets more modern looks thanks to alloy wheels and a blacked-out theme for the engine and dual exhausts. The latest Interceptor also gets better switchgear and a USB charging port. It also costs less than half of the aforementioned Kawasakis, while still offering a smooth and punchy parallel-twin engine.
