Revolt RV1 vs RV1+

Revolt Motors recently launched their latest, most affordable commuter-class EV bike in India, the RV1. It comes in two variants: the RV1 and RV1+. Let’s take a look at the similarities and differences between them.

Revolt RV1 Vs Revolt RV1+: similarities

Both the Revolt RV1 and RV1+ are available in four colour options: Cosmic Black Red, Titan Red Silver, Black Neon Green and Black Midnight Blue. Both bikes are powered by the same mid-mounted electric motor, delivering 2.8kW of peak power that's transmitted via a chain drive system.

Both models feature an LCD instrument cluster with LED headlight, tail-light and indicators. The underpinnings are also identical, with a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both ends, equipped with a Combined Braking System (CBS).

Revolt RV1 Vs Revolt RV1+: differences

The biggest difference between the two variants lies in their battery capacity. The RV1 is equipped with a 2.2 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 100km in Eco mode and charges from 0 percent to 80 percent in 2 hours and 15 minutes.

The RV1+ is the premium variant, featuring a 3.2kWh battery with a claimed range of 160km in Eco mode. It takes 3.5 hours to charge from 0 to 80 percent, but also includes a fast-charging option that reduces this time to just 1 hour and 20 minutes. In terms of weight, the RV1 is lighter at 108kg, while the RV1+ weighs in at 110kg.

The standard RV1 is priced at Rs 84,990, while the higher-spec RV1+ will cost Rs 99,990.
