I am interested in buying a Royal Enfield Bullet. But I have heard that all RE Bullets have a problem of hard back kicks that leaves the rider limping. So, I would like to know  if  modern Bullets have the same problem, or has that been corrected in the new engine?
Navneet Joshi, via email

AAA We suggest you go ahead and purchase a new Bullet. Being large-capacity, single-cylinder bikes, all Royal Enfield motorcycles are hard to kick-start. However, every new model made by the company today comes with an auto-decompression system and an efficient electric starter, which makes starting the bike just as convenient as any other motorcycle.
