The KTM 390 Duke has long been the performance benchmark in its segment and also offers impressive levels of features and tech for its price. The latest-generation model, launched in 2023, brought some of the bike’s most significant changes yet, making for a well-rounded, value-for-money, exciting package. If you’re considering one, here are answers to some of the most common questions.

What is the price of the KTM 390 Duke in India?

The KTM 390 Duke is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It’s available in three colour options – Gunmetal Grey, Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue. The bike was recently updated globally with fresh colour schemes and a new WP FCR4 front brake caliper, but that iteration of the bike is yet to be made available in our market.

How much power does the KTM 390 Duke make?

The KTM 390 Duke is powered by a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 46hp at 8,500rpm and 39Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. In our performance tests, this was enough to propel it from a standstill to 100kph in just 5.21 seconds, making it one of the quickest-accelerating bikes made in India.

What is the weight of the KTM 390 Duke?

The KTM 390 Duke has a kerb weight of 168.3kg. This low weight, combined with the 46hp power output, gives the Duke an impressive power-to-weight ratio of around 273.32hp per tonne.

What is the mileage of the KTM 390 Duke?

In our tests, we achieved a mileage of 29.4kpl in the city and 31.4kpl on the highway with the KTM 390 Duke. That said, spirited riding will see these figures drop.

What is the seat height of the KTM 390 Duke?

The KTM 390 Duke has a seat height of 800mm, which is relatively accessible for the segment. The seat height is lower than before, but despite this, you won’t feel cramped in the leg region if you are tall. Alternatively, you can also raise this to 820mm by purchasing an optional taller seat from the KTM accessory catalogue.
