The Hero Splendor has held the title for the world’s bestselling motorcycle for quite some time. In 2022, Hero launched a higher-spec variant of the Splendor+ with the Xtec suffix, offering a few key safety features that distinguish the Xtec from the base Splendor+ for riders who demand a bit more from their hardy commuters. Here are a few things to know before considering the Hero Splendor+ Xtec. 

1. Does the Hero Splendor+ Xtec get an engine side-stand cut-off sensor?

Yes, the Hero Splendor+ Xtec features a side-stand cut-off sensor that kills the engine every time the side-stand is engaged and won’t start unless it is up.
