I am planning to buy the Roxx Petrol Automatic. However, I’m concerned about the resale value of the petrol version. Would you still recommend the petrol variant if my running is quite low?

@asd.2 After driving the Thar Roxx, I felt the petrol isn't as fun as the diesel AT variant. Even though my running is very low, I bought a diesel one, and I'm still getting around 7.2kmpl, worse than my turbo petrol

@asd.2 I've got the diesel AT. I'm getting around 7.2 km/l, but keep in mind that about 90% of my driving is in city traffic in a hilly region, so the mileage takes a hit. The remaining 10% is on highways. While test-driving the petrol ROXX, the salesperson also told me the petrol variant gives only around 5 to 6 km/l in city driving (on plain roads) and barely 10 km/l on highways. So if you're okay with those figures, only then should you consider the petrol variants.

For thar diesel auto 4:2 this can go up to 14,15 in ideal good condition light foot drive , if this is 4.4 than this would be. Max 12

Go for diesel automatic, i m driving since 2024, still getting 11kmpl mileage in Mumbai City with heavy traffic

@shalander yes, and its with AC on, without AC i get 13-14 in city and 18 on highway. 15 on highway with AC. Automatic is best if u drive professionally. Rash driving will reduce the mileage to 8

Do not buy amd even drop your idea.to buy a new car. Petrol is bad and mixed with Ethenol no fun in getting half of the average and problems in car. Buy second d hand from Spinny rather

Which car should I buy among Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Petrol base or Kia Seltos petrol base? And also tell me if anyone has faced power issue or pickup issue while overtaking as I want the car for long term.

Between the two, the Seltos is the better choice, especially if you are looking at the base variant. It feels more premium, is the newer product and offers a more complete package even in its lower variants.The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol makes 115hp and 144Nm. It isn't a particularly powerful engine, but it is smooth and refined and is perfectly adequate for normal city driving.For overtaking, it won't have the punch of the Seltos turbo, but it isn't underpowered either. With a full load and during quick highway overtakes, you may need to plan ahead and use higher revs. The Grand Vitara's 1.5 petrol is also a smooth, simple powertrain, but its performance is more relaxed and the base variant is quite sparsely equipped.
