I am planning to buy a new scooty and am looking for something lightweight with a low seat height. Which would be the best option in the 125cc segment? Please suggest.

If you want the lightest 125cc scooter, look no further than the Yamaha Fascino / RayZR models. You can buy facino 125. I bought 2 one with disk break and one with drum break. I would suggest go with disk break if you have budget. I am getting overall 49.5kmph milage. It's comfortable to ride in city.

I am confused between the Venue N Line N6 manual (I might get the automatic if it fits within my budget) and the Creta EX(O) Summer Edition. The Hyundai Creta EX(O) Summer Edition manual is certainly the more sensible choice - it is a larger, more spacious car with a larger 1.5 petrol engine. It even has a bigger boot, making it the better family car. However, if this car is exclusively going to be used by you, we'd recommend the Venue N Line N6 for its sporty and fun-to-drive nature. The 1.0-turbo is strong, and the dual-clutch automatic transmission will be very convenient while driving in city traffic.In summary, the Creta petrol manual is a better family car, but as your first car, the Venue N Line DCT will not only be more convenient to drive but will also feel more special.

The TVS Apache RTX 300 is surely the more capable, feature-rich and well-rounded motorcycle of the two bikes you have shortlisted. However, TVS' after-sales network is infamous for having a hit-or-miss experience and add to that, the RTX itself has been experiencing concerning issues almost a year after its launch. The KTM 250 Adventure might not be as enticing a proposition as the RTX on paper, but it remains the safer buy because it comes from a brand with a proven track record, and the bike itself has also not been reported as having widespread reliability concerns.

Since your father is already familiar with the venerable Activa, stepping up to the Honda Activa 125 would be a good idea. The Activa 125 is smooth, has decent comfort, will be easy to manage and hassle-free to own over a longer period. If you want a change of pace, the Suzuki Access 125 would be our recommendation. The Access has trademark strengths expected of a practical, family-oriented scooter, like being fuel-efficient, comfortable, practical and reliable, but also throws zippy performance into the mix. Take your father for test rides of both before zeroing in on your next purchase.
