We are planning to buy either the Kia Syros or the Kia Sonet in diesel automatic form. We are confused about whether they have been discontinued or not, and which variant would be the best one.

Both the Kia Syros and Sonet diesel automatics are very much on sale, so there is no need to worry about discontinuation. The Syros is the newer product and sits above the Sonet in Kia’s line-up, offering a more premium cabin, more space and a more comfortable ride. Both cars use a 6-speed torque converter automatic, which is a smooth-shifting and reliable gearbox.
The choice really comes down to your budget and priorities. If you are looking for a more premium and spacious car, the Syros is the better choice. If you are looking for a more affordable option, the Sonet offers the diesel auto combo on lower trims than the Syros does. In terms of variants, it is best to go for the mid-to-high variants that offer a good balance of features and value.
