•19wWe currently have a 2011 Hyundai i10 Sportz AT that my mother uses for office travel. We’re looking to replace it with another automatic car, preferably a hatchback, within a ₹10 lakh budget. Our usage is around 600km per month, mostly within the city. Our main priorities are fuel efficiency, ease of driving within the city, good features, and easy ingress and egress for senior citizens. Please suggest suitable options.

Given that the car will be primarily used by your mother, the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is an easy car to recommend. Its height makes it easy to get into and out of, visibility is excellent, and it's generally a friendly city car. Good fuel economy is a given, and the AMT gearbox is decent for average city use. Opt for the 1.2 AGS that is well within your budget.
If you are open to trying a Citroen, you could also consider the Citroen C3 Turbo AT. While it's just out of your budget, its slick engine and gearbox make it worth a look.
