Navi Mumbai street race moved to the next season of the Indian Racing Festival, which starts from August 2026

The debut of the new Navi Mumbai street circuit has been postponed yet again, with the organisers of the Indian Racing League (IRL) confirming that the race will now feature on next season’s calendar. The race was initially slated to be held in December 2025, but was pushed to early 2026.

“The IRL today announced that the Navi Mumbai leg of the Indian Racing Festival will not be part of the 2025-26 calendar,” read an official statement. “Following the conclusion of the Goa Street Race – the fourth and final round – in which Goa Aces JA Racing emerged victorious, the Navi Mumbai race will now feature as one of the rounds in the upcoming season of the Indian Racing League, which will commence from August 2026 onwards.”

Navi Mumbai race moved to next edition of Indian Racing Festival

Last year, Racing Promotions Private Limited (RPPL) announced two new street circuits – in Goa and Navi Mumbai – for the Indian Racing Festival, which features both F4 India and the Indian Racing League. While both rounds were postponed, the Goa race was eventually held in February 2026 at a new location near the Manohar International Airport.

Navi Mumbai was supposed to host the 2025-26 season finale on a 3.753km long street circuit starting at Palm Beach and weaving through stretches alongside Nerul Lake. However, plans for this have now been called off. Instead, the new track will make its debut next season, which is scheduled to kick off in August 2026 and feature six rounds.

The cancellation of the Navi Mumbai round means the 2025-26 season concludes with the recent Goa race. Goa Aces JA Racing has been declared the teams' champion, with 141 points. Speed Demons Delhi finish second overall, six points behind.

In the cars’ championship, the No. 5 Goa Aces JA Racing duo of Raoul Hyman and Fabienne Wohlwend take top honours, finishing 20 points ahead of Kolkata Royal Tigers’ Sohil Shah and Thomas Canning.
