Honda 2Wheelers India has kicked off the Idemitsu Honda India Talent Hunt, with the aim of selecting 20 young riders from across the country. These riders will be trained by the Honda Ten10 Racing Academy, before racing in the Honda One Make Championship.

The Talent Hunt had its first round in Bengaluru on the June 25, and will now visit Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneshwar, Aizawal (Mizoram), Delhi NCR, Bhopal, Vadodara, Pune and Coimbatore.

The selection process consists of three parts and is open to all riders between the ages of 13 and 18. The first part consists of a test for physical strength and fitness, followed by a riding test in the second part, where each participant will ride a small capacity CRF dirt bike supplied by Honda. The final section is a rider interview and a parent counselling session.

The Bengaluru round saw 33 young riders register for and participate in the Talent Hunt. Once the 20 riders have been selected and trained, they will participate in the CBR 150R Novice category of the Honda One Make Championship. This is a great opportunity for aspiring and capable young riders, since Honda 2Wheelers India has supported riders all the way up to the Asia Road Racing Championship.
