MotoGP will venture into uncharted territory this weekend (August 22-24), with the first-ever race held at Hungary’s Balaton Park Circuit. Will Marc Marquez make it seven wins in a row, or will the new track deliver a surprise winner?

DTM also returns this weekend, with Round 6 at the Sachsenring circuit. Here is your complete guide on when and where to tune in from India:

2025 MotoGP Hungarian GP schedule

MotoGP returns to Hungary for the first time since 1992, with a debut outing at Balaton Park. Marc Marquez remains the clear favourite going in, and the predominantly left-handed circuit and the low-grip nature of a green track play into his strengths as well. The Ducati rider already holds a sizeable 142-point lead over his brother Alex in the standings and will be chasing his seventh consecutive win this weekend.

It’s a rather close battle behind Marc, though, with Alex, a resurgent Marco Bezzecchi and Francesco Bagnaia all in contention for second place. Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Pedro Acosta, meanwhile, are all tied in fifth place with 144 points each.

Honda LCR rider Somkiat Chantra and Tech3 KTM’s Maverick Vinales won’t be on the grid for the Hungarian GP, with both riders recovering from injuries. KTM test rider Pol Espargaro will take Vinales’ place on the grid instead. His older brother Aleix Espargaro was supposed to replace Chantra but was forced to withdraw at the last moment after suffering a cycling accident.

2025 DTM Sachsenring schedule

The DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) sports car racing series heads to Sachsenring for Round 6 this weekend. It’s a star-studded grid featuring GT3 race cars from Audi, Ferrari, Aston Martin, BMW, Ford, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes and Porsche.

Mercedes-AMG’s Lucas Auer currently leads the standings, but he’s just 8 points ahead of Jack Aitken and 15 points ahead of third-placed Jordan Pepper.

After driving for Mercedes for several years, India’s Arjun Maini is racing a Ford Mustang GT3 this year for the Haupt Racing Team. He’s currently P14 in the standings.
