F1 heads to the Baku City Circuit for Round 17 of the 2025 World Championship. All eyes will be on McLaren this weekend, with the team in with a chance to clinch the teams’ title at the Azerbaijan GP itself.

F2 will also race this weekend at the same track. Here is your complete guide on when and where to tune in from India:

2025 F1 Azerbaijan GP schedule

McLaren could wrap up the 2025 F1 teams’ championship this weekend. Having won 12 out of 16 races so far this year, the team holds a mammoth 337-point lead over second-placed Ferrari in the standings. McLaren will be crowned champion at Baku if it outscores Ferrari by at least nine points.

As for the drivers’ championship battle – Oscar Piastri currently leads the standings, 31 points ahead of his McLaren teammate Lando Norris. After returning to the top step of the podium at Monza last time out, Max Verstappen will be looking to add to his victory tally. Charles Leclerc will also be hoping to join this battle. The Ferrari driver has quite a strong qualifying record at Baku, having claimed the last four pole positions.

The midfield battle remains tight as well, with just 42 points covering Williams, Aston Martin, Racing Bulls, Sauber and Haas from P5 to P9.

2025 F2 Azerbaijan GP schedule

The F2 title battle enters its final stages, with just three rounds to go. Championship leader Leonardo Fornaroli comes to Baku with an impressive four-race weekend victory streak. He currently leads the standings by 21 points from Luke Browning. Richard Verschoor is third overall, 30 points behind Fornaroli.

After a difficult Monza round, Kush Maini will be hoping to bounce back at Baku. The Indian racer is currently P14 overall.
