The Autocar India Tri-Circuit Challenge has already completed more than half of its 3500km-plus journey, having started off with some blazing laps with Aditya Patel at the Madras Motor Race Track in Sriperembudur and then driven over to Coimbatore for even more laps at the Kari Motor Speedway. The convoy of an Audi TT, Audi S6 and Audi RS7 then made its way up to Mumbai via Bengaluru, and has been taking a little breather for both cars and drivers alike to get some much needed rest and relaxation.

On the way from Chennai to Coimbatore and back up to Mumbai, the team faced a variety of different road and weather conditions that challenged both man and machine, although the road ahead – to Greater Noida via Udaipur over the next two days – should be comprised largely of four to six-lane highways; perfect for a trio of powerful Audi performance cars.

To bring you up to speed, the Autocar India Tri-circuit Challenge is a celebration of performance and motorsport, wherein three Audi performance cars is being driven to India’s three most famous race tracks –  the Madras Motor Race Track, the Kari Motor Speedway and the Buddh International Circuit. At each of these circuits, Audi racing driver Aditya Patel will set quick lap times with each car.

With the last leg and the last circuit not too far away, the team is excited to get back on the road again. Click here to see what the journey has been like so far, and to follow the team’s progress on Twitter, use the hashtag #TriCircuitChallenge.
