Quick News

Tata Nano—the world’s most affordable car has gone for its first price revision. Tata Motors has hiked prices of the Nano by three to four percent, due to ‘a steep increase in input prices’.

In other words, the entry level Nano will cost around Rs. 4,000 more, while the top end will cost around Rs. 8,000 more. Currently, the Nano (base model) costs Rs. 1.55 lakh, and the top end Nano LX  sells for Rs. 2.11 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

With the Sanand plant on stream, Tata Motors has started deliveries of Nanos to customers who retained their bookings, despite not being in the first list of ‘allottee-customers’. With the fast production ramp up, fresh bookings are likely to start in a month or so.
