Land Rover has released a teaser image for its facelifted Range Rover Evoque. It will make its global debut at the Geneva motor show in March.
While not much can be made out from the picture, we can see new LED headlight designs will feature at the front of the SUV. Land Rover says the facelifted Evoque will be the first of its models to feature adaptive LED lighting, which it says offer “superior illumination in dark conditions, following the curves of the road”.
Land Rover has confirmed that a new engine line-up will feature as part of the updated Evoque range, as well as new interior, safety and convenience features. It is likely that Land Rover will bring engines from its new four-cylinder Ingenium engine range - which will shortly feature on the new Discovery Sport and are used in the Jaguar XE - to the Evoque.
Land Rover design boss Gerry McGovern said: “Our challenge has been to enhance Evoque without diluting its iconic design. The design refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400,000 consumers around the world.”
